We invite MSU staff and faculty for a dialogue about the history and future of Black and APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) solidarity against white supremacy.
We hope that this event will provide a space for open and productive conversation about anti-APIDA hate and anti-Blackness, as well as the history of solidarity and collaboration between APIDA and Black communities. We will also brainstorm and set priorities for how we want to further collaborate or build solidarities in the future.
Sponsored by APIDA/AFSA and BFSAA. Please note that this event will center the experiences of members of these organizations, and that this event is not intended for students.
When: Thursday, April 15th, 2021 5:00pm – 7:00pm
