9th Annual Outstanding Leaders Awards Program

The MSU Black Faculty, Staff, and Administrators Association (BFSAA) is hosting its 9th Annual Outstanding Leaders Awards Program and invites you to join us in the Atrium of the Molecular Plant Sciences Building, 1066 Bogue St, East Lansing, MI.

Previously known as the Historical and Emerging Leaders Recognition Reception, the BFSAA Outstanding Leaders Award ceremony will acknowledge the accomplishments of persons across six categories:

  • Historical Leader
  • Contemporary Leader
  • Community Leader
  • Pioneer Leader
  • Inspirational Leader
  • Emerging Leader (Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional)

This year’s theme, “Never Deterred…Relentlessly Moving Forward,” allows attendees to reflect over and acknowledge Black historical resiliency and accomplishments despite obstacles, as evidenced in the lives of the awarded leaders who have navigated, overcome, and survived adversity. Additionally, attendees will gain a better view of what it means to support the Black community unapologetically.
