As reported in InsideMSU, Lisa Cook, who is a professor of economics and international relations at MSU, was sworn in Sept. 22 to her role as the newest member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. MSU’s Lisa Cook, a professor in the Department of Economics, has been nominated to serve on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board. If confirmed, Dr. Cook will make history as the first Black woman to serve on the board. You can read more about this historic achievement here.
